While perusing the Catholic Education website today I happened upon this wonderful article on Suffering by Peter Kreeft. It is Part 1 of a series he is giving on Suffering, Death and Sin. The second part is also available on the CERC website.
It serves as a great reminder for why we, as Catholics, embrace suffering.

Sarah, this looks great! I started to read it but will have to finish it later. You posted at a very opportune moment for me. There was also a talk I heard recently by Ravi Zacharias about suffering, and how everyone wants to get away from it, but that running away from suffering isn't a good thing. I'll try to find it sometime. Thank you again for a great post!
